Awakening the Spine and the Heart

A significant component of the class involved warming up the spine through dynamic movements. Yogigems instructed the attendees to perform a spinal flex, engaging deeply with the shoulders and chest. Participants were guided to visualize the Anahata chakra lighting up during these movements, bringing focus to the heart center as they released built-up tension through breath and motion.

The connection to the Mulbandh, or root lock, was another focal point. By engaging the pelvic floor, attendees were taught to channel energy upward through the spine, fostering vitality and grounding in the practice.
