After completing the warm-ups, we focus on more significant heart-opening poses, including various iterations of Sphinx and Cobra poses. By engaging in dynamic movements within these poses, we strengthen the back muscles, enhancing respiratory function and reducing the risk of chronic tension related to stress.
As we hold each pose, our intention is to breathe deeply, allowing the better flow of energy through the heart chakra. The strength gained in the back supports overall heart health, allowing us to build strength while remaining mindful of our breath.
