We then proceed to Camel pose, which can be modified for beginners or those with less flexibility by leaning back and grasping the hands behind the back. For those comfortable with the full pose, lean back with the tops of the feet on the floor and open the heart fully. Holding this pose, remember to breathe deeply, connecting with the energy emanating from your heart.
Breathing Technique: Long Deep Breathing
After completing the physical poses, we lie on our backs either in goddess pose with crossed legs or with legs straight. We then practice a breathing technique called long deep breathing. With eyes closed, and the face and upper body relaxed, we inhale slowly, allowing the stomach and chest to expand fully, then exhale in a controlled manner to create space within.
