Understanding the Anahata Chakra
Tonight’s focus is on the anahata chakra, the heart chakra, which serves as a vital bridge between the lower and upper triangles of our chakra system. It embodies love, compassion, and empathy. As we engage with this chakra's energy through our practices, we note that our breath plays a crucial role in how we engage with ourselves and the world around us.
Connecting Through Breath
We’ll practice a wave breath. Inhale deeply through your belly, holding the tongue at the roof of your mouth as you exhale. This technique should feel natural as you focus on the rhythm of your breath, inhaling and exhaling fully. Remember, when we breathe deeply, we not only nourish ourselves but also extend our energy to everyone around us.
