Imbalances in the heart chakra can manifest through various emotional and physical symptoms. A blocked heart chakra may lead to feelings of jealousy, neglect, and a sense that the universe is not responsive to one's needs or desires. On the other hand, an overactive heart chakra may cause behaviors associated with codependency and martyrdom, where individuals feel the need to give excessively in hopes of receiving validation or love in return.
People may find themselves drained from always giving without receiving acknowledgment, resulting in feelings of victimization and resentment. It is important to recognize that expectations tethered to giving can distort the authenticity of our intentions and create disharmony within our relationships.
