Part 1/6:
Connecting to the Heart Chakra through Yoga Practice
In today's yoga session, the focus is centered around the Heart Chakra, also known as Anahata in Sanskrit. The Heart Chakra is integral to our emotional wellbeing, representing love, compassion, self-acceptance, and connection to ourselves and others.
Understanding the Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra plays a vital role as it acts as a bridge between our spiritual and physical bodies. Positioned centrally between the three upper chakras and three lower chakras, this chakra facilitates harmony between our inner spiritual world and our physical existence. The color associated with this chakra is green, reminiscent of nature and growth, and serves as a visual cue for practitioners to foster feelings of love and compassion.
