From the grounded position, the practice gradually rolls up to standing. At the front of the mat, there is a beautiful moment of reaching upwards as the arms extend above the head. The body transitions into a side stretch, tilting gently to the left, followed by a rise back to center and a lean over to the right. These movements prepare the body for a gentle backbend, a pose that encourages openness and grounding through the legs.
