Understanding the Mudra
A significant component of this meditation is the use of hand mudras. The right hand rests on the heart while the left hand adopts the Gyana mudra, with the index finger touching the thumb while the remaining fingers extend upward. This alignment not only helps to activate energy centers but also promotes mindfulness as practitioners consciously engage with their physical bodies.
Breathing Technique
The meditation emphasizes a structured breathing technique, inviting participants to control their breath through specific counts. Beginners are encouraged to choose a comfortable counting method, such as a three, four, or six count for inhalation and exhalation.
