Building Strength in Mountain Pose
Recovering from the lunge, participants rise into a standing position known as mountain pose. They inhale while raising their arms overhead, and exhale while folding forward. This forward fold is repeated several times, fostering warmth in the spine and releasing tension in the back of the pelvis.
After a few repetitions, attendees are instructed to further explore the mountain pose by expanding their arms into a high V shape overhead. Here, the concept of the "ego eradicator" is introduced—not as a means to eliminate the ego, but rather to create a harmonious relationship between the heart and ego through mindful breathing and visualization.
