The sixth chakra symbolizes not only intuition and spiritual vision but also a meshing of the masculine and feminine energies present in the body. The previous chakras include three masculine (root, solar plexus, throat) and three feminine (sacral, heart, third eye), with the sixth chakra perched as the pinnacle of feminine energy. This chakra accentuates qualities such as introspection, perspective, beauty, and the acknowledgment of the divine within oneself.
As we traverse higher into the chakra system, the energy becomes increasingly subtle and still. Hence, the physical is less significant at this level, making it an opportune time for meditation—a practice that deepens one’s awareness and connection to the higher self.
