Find a comfortable seated position on the floor, with legs crossed, your sit bones grounded, and your chest open. You are reminded of the importance of deep breathing: inhaling to fill the belly and exhaling to engage the navel point, drawing it back to the spine.
With hands rubbed together and placed at the center of the chest, the energy is cultivated for the upcoming practice.
Energizing Your Body
Participants lay on their bellies to engage in the Locust Pose and Bow Pose.
In the Locust Pose, hands are interlaced in a Venus lock behind the back, and individuals are encouraged to lift their legs and heads off the ground, holding the position for around three minutes while focusing on the breath.
