In a new introduction to today’s practice, we explore the Modified Cobra Pose. Lying on our bellies, we place our hands beneath our shoulders and press our hips into the mat. A key element to note is the engagement of the leg muscles, where the kneecaps lift off the ground as we activate. Participants lift into the Cobra pose while maintaining strong, supportive breaths, noticing the activation in the low back. The focus remains on deep, long breaths as we hold this pose to reap its energizing benefits.
