Part 4/7:
- Vrikshasana: This pose requires participants to lift one leg and plant their foot against the opposite thigh while raising the hands overhead. This exercises stability and encourages concentration.
Alternate sides allow for a comprehensive practice, promoting mindfulness and the awareness of breath even as the body moves.
Triangle Pose and Additional Stretches
In a further sequence, practitioners are invited to take their feet wide apart and engage in the Trikonasana (Triangle Pose).
- Side Stretch: Participants move towards the floor, attempting to touch their head to the ground to deepen the lateral stretch while keeping the opposite arm reaching skyward.
