Part 2/6:
Flowing into Movement: Downward Dog to Mountain Pose
The flow begins by transitioning into Downward Facing Dog, a common pose that connects the body through strength and elongation. From here, practitioners are encouraged to walk their feet towards the front mat, engaging in a deep forward fold. This stage emphasizes relaxation in the neck and encourages the breath to travel smoothly along the spine.
In a methodical progression, we rise into Mountain Pose, reaching the arms overhead. By interlacing the fingers and bowing side to side, we cultivate a sense of grounding while stretching through the sides of the body. Each breath serves as a reminder to center and stabilize, transitioning between the various poses with grace.
