Cat and Cow Pose
Beginning with the Cat and Cow poses, Anella encourages participants to take deep breaths to engage the core. First, participants inhale deeply while tucking the tailbone in, drawing the stomach toward the spine. This is held momentarily before gently releasing into Cow pose, where the tailbone is directed toward the ceiling, shoulders relaxed.
This sequence is repeated five times, encouraging momentum and fire in the core, essential for building abdominal strength and losing belly fat.
Spinal Balance
Transitioning into the Spinal Balance, participants are instructed to extend one arm in front while extending the opposite leg back. With deep breaths, this movement is emphasized for its role in core engagement and balance.
