This posture also stretches and tones abdominal muscles, contributing to fat reduction around the midsection.

The Fourth Asana: Setu Bandhasana

Following Dhanurasana is Setu Bandhasana, or the Bridge Pose. Lie flat on your back, legs together, with your arms by your sides. Bend your knees and position your feet close to your hips, holding your ankles or pressing your palms flat on the ground. With an inhale, lift your hips, lower, and mid-back off the floor, holding briefly before returning to the ground upon exhaling. Repeat this three times.
