Participants are guided into a series of twists to awaken their spine and engage their core. Alternating between gentle twists to the left and right sides allows for a deep connection between breath and movement. Reinforcing this connection, practitioners are invited to hold onto the chair for support as they breathe deeply, enhancing the stretch while stabilizing the lower body.
Grounding and Flexibility
Transitioning into lower body movements, practitioners bring their right knee up, gently opening their inner thigh while holding onto their upper leg. This encourages a deeper connection with one’s body, stimulating awareness of different flexibility levels between sides. The practice promotes active engagement through hip hinging and mindful breathing.
