After an invigorating series of sun salutations and dynamic poses, the class transitions towards a much-needed cooldown. Participants enter Shavasana, or corpse pose, where they are encouraged to find full relaxation and integration of the intense energy cultivated throughout the session. This moment serves as a crucial aspect of yoga practice—it allows bodies to absorb the benefits of the asanas while also releasing any residual tension.
As the instructor gently guides the class through a visualization exercise, they encourage participants to relax fully, focusing on the energy flowing through them. With each exhale, practitioners are reminded to let go of that which no longer serves them, welcoming pure, positive energy in its stead.
