The class began with a gentle invitation to settle into a comfortable position, encouraging everyone to close their eyes and focus on their breath. This initial phase was crucial as it allowed participants to ease into the practice. The instructor emphasized the importance of releasing tension—starting from the shoulders to facial muscles, guiding everyone to let go of any stress and be present in the moment.
In this sacred space of relaxation, we focused on controlled breathing, taking deep inhales followed by gentle exhales. This set the tone for the practice, rooting us in our bodies and minds.
