By performing full-armed motions and expansive postures, participants are expected to experience a surge in confidence hormones, which can dramatically alter one’s mood in a matter of moments. It becomes evident that with each breath and powerful posture, yoga morphs into an active tool for emotional regulation as well.
Structure of the Practice
The routine flows through several sequences including Sun Salutations, downward-facing dog stretching, and various strong standing poses such as Warrior Two and Triangle Pose. Each pose is interconnected, creating a rhythm that warms up the body systematically.
