Part 3/8:
The initial series of exercises consists of deep inhaling and exhaling movements with arms. Students are guided to stretch their arms forward, synchronize their breath with movements (inhale to extend, exhale to close), and feel the connection between breath and motion. This practice fosters awareness of one’s breath and enhances its control.
Building Strength: Pulses and Arm Stretches
Transitioning to more dynamic movements, participants are instructed to hold their arms at shoulder level and perform pulse exercises. The mantra here is to work with the mind rather than surrendering to the physical discomfort. Practicing in sequences with palms facing various directions cultivates shoulder stability and endurance.
