Warm-Up: Cat and Cow Pose
Andrew leads the class into the Cat-Cow sequence, encouraging practitioners to connect with their breath and find their rhythm. They inhale to arch their back, exhale to round the spine, and progressively include leg movements. The focus remains on gentle movements and breath control, using Mula Bandha to further channel energy.
Core Movements and Stretching
Next, participants are guided through a series of seated stretches that open the hips and lower back. Various postures are introduced, including the Diamond Pose and Life Nerve Stretch, where practitioners are encouraged to breathe deeply and move within their comfort limits to foster bodily awareness and flexibility.
