The kriya begins with a grounding exercise. Participants start seated comfortably, hands pressed together at the heart center. Eyes are closed, and focus shifts to the brow point, promoting alignment and the elongation of the spine. Deep, controlled breaths initiate the practice, with participants inhaling and exhaling fully, engaging the belly and navel point.
To tune into their highest consciousness, practitioners chant the mantra "ong namo gurudev namo" three times. This communal act serves as a connection to their inner wisdom and prepares participants for the physical and meditative aspects of the kriya.
