Part 2/7:
To kick off our morning practice, we begin by standing and engaging in a breathing technique known as the Breath of Joy. This invigorating exercise comprises three quick inhales followed by a forceful exhale, which releases stagnant energy and helps awaken the body.
Instructions:
Stand with feet hip-width apart.
Inhale deeply through the nose for three counts.
As you complete the third inhale, exhale powerfully through the mouth, folding forward into a forward bend.
This cycle of breath is repeated ten times, allowing participants to feel the energy surge through their bodies. A gentle bounce in the knees can be added to protect the lower back and enhance the flow of energy.
