From the all fours position, Larkin curls the toes under and presses into Downward Facing Dog. This pose can be modified by bending the knees as necessary, allowing practitioners to focus on alignment. Once established, she raises one leg towards the sky, bending the knee and stacking the hips to create a dynamic stretch that opens the chest.
Larkin instructs practitioners to step the foot forward into a Low Lunge, where they can stretch their hands toward the floor or a block while reaching the opposite arm overhead for a side bend. This stretch not only engages the side body but also opens the hips and legs.
