After returning to Downward Dog, Larkin guides the practitioners into a standing position with a Forward Fold. This pose encourages relaxation in the spine and gently stretches the hamstrings. Here, one should gently rock the weight from foot to foot while clasping opposite elbows. This movement can provide additional stretch to the spine and hips—a great release after the deeper lunging movements.

Larkin includes a series of Half-Lifts, which activate the core while lengthening the back. Moving through these movements with intention reinforces the connection between breath and body.
