The practice of Sufi Grind commenced, involving circular movements that engage the hips. As practitioners inhaled forward and exhaled backward, they visualized themselves rooted to the Earth, enhancing their awareness of physical presence.
This movement was not just physical; it became a meditative practice that allowed for an exploration of the body’s weight and its connection to the ground. After rotating anti-clockwise, participants transitioned into clockwise rotations, deepening their sense of grounding and stability.
