Next, straighten your left leg and guide your right knee over your body into a gentle twist. Use your left hand for support as you extend your right arm out, maybe gazing over your right shoulder. This spinal twist helps to invigorate your body and release tension from your spine.
After taking a few deep breaths, return to the center and switch sides, straightening your right leg and pulling your left thigh over to the right. Continue to breathe mindfully, paying attention to how each twist affects your body this morning.
