Once the spinal movements are complete, practitioners shift into Child's Pose, retreating the hips toward the heels. Participants are offered modifications, such as pillows for added support under the torso. In this pose, concentration on the breath becomes key; inhaling deeply into the chest, and exhaling to soften various body parts, from the upper back down to the toes.

Energetic Transition to Downward Dog

The session advances into a tabletop position. From there, transitioning to Downward Dog allows practitioners to stretch out the back and legs. "Walking it out" by bending one knee and then the other helps loosen any lingering tension.
