Part 6/8:
Moving to Downward Dog and Exploring Lunges
Tuck your toes and push your hips back into Downward Dog, where you can bend your knees and sway side to side. From here, step or hop to position for a lizard lunge, varying the pose with an option to lower or lift your back knee. Transition into a Skandasana or extend to a side lunge, exploring hip mobility.
Dynamic Transitions: Plank to Cobra
Move into Side Plank for a change in dynamic. Hold your position, either modifying as necessary or pushing through into a plank. Exhale into Chaturanga or modify by lowering knees. Shift into an upward-facing dog, rolling your shoulders back, then exhale back to a downward-facing dog.
