Moving slowly, the hands were guided to the right side of the mat, allowing participants to feel the stretch across the left side of their bodies. After breathing deeply and transitioning to the left side, the practice started warming up with poses that included Tabletop Position and a series of Cat-Cow motions. These catered to the spine, promoting flexibility and a heightened connection to the breath.
Building Strength in Plank and Downward Facing Dog
As the session transitioned to Downward Facing Dog, the flow gained momentum. Participants were instructed to pedal their feet, warming up the legs and creating space in the hips. The pacing was dynamic, encouraging deeper breaths and prompting a gradual build-up of heat in the body.
