Once the gentle movements are complete, a downward-facing dog position is adopted, allowing for further elongation and stretching of the body. Further opening is achieved by transitioning into an upward-facing dog, repeating the flow several times to fully engage the spine.
This short practice concludes with a calming child's pose, or balasana, promoting introspection and quiet before entering a meditative state. Taking time each morning to listen to the body's needs through movement sets the groundwork for a deeper meditation experience.
