Following Kapalbhati, Bhastrika Pranayama is introduced, where both inhalations and exhalations are forceful. Bharti instructs participants to raise their arms with each inhale and pull them down with each exhale, creating a rhythm that helps energize the body.
-Instructions:
Bring arms to shoulder level.
Inhale fully, expanding the belly and lifting arms.
Exhale robustly, lowering the arms and contracting the belly.
Each set consists of 20 pumps, followed by a relaxation phase, helping to ground the participants before moving on to the next breathing technique.
