To deepen the practice, Cassandra guides attendees through the sequential motion of flexing and pointing the right foot. As participants continue this exercise, they are reminded to engage their feet actively, enhancing the intensity of the stretch, particularly in the hamstrings which can often feel tight in the morning.
After a series of gentle stretches, practitioners are encouraged to pull both knees into their chest and transition into Ananda Balasana, or Happy Baby Pose. This playful pose offers an additional stretch while relaxing the shoulders and grounding the spine.
