Once settled, thread your right hand underneath your left armpit, reaching your left arm overhead for a gentle twist. Stay in this position or opt for a bind if you feel comfortable. After a few moments, switch to the other side, creating balance and symmetry in your practice.
Closing the Practice: Gratitude
As the session comes to an end, rise back up slowly, one vertebra at a time. Rest your hands on your thighs with palms facing up, taking a moment to express gratitude for the time spent on the mat today. Recognize that you deserve this attention and care. Inhale to reach your hands overhead one last time and exhale as your hands come to heart center, culminating the session with a heartfelt "Namaste."
