In a series of crescent lunges paired with twisting positions, participants begin to further explore their physical limits while cultivating flexibility and core strength. The act of bending and twisting allows deeper engagement of the upper body with the breath, promoting a cleansing effect on both the mind and body.
Seated Integration: Reflecting and Releasing
Finishing the dynamic movements, the class flows into seated positions that promote deep stretching and emotional release. Participants are invited to fold forward over their butterfly legs, allowing their bodies to relax into the ground. This moment encourages introspection and the shedding of any negativity they might carry into the day.
