After completing these gentle movements, release your left knee and plant the left foot firmly on the mat while allowing your knee to fall open. This position opens up the hips and promotes a sense of relaxation. If you find this position intense, consider placing a pillow under your knee to provide additional support.
Take a moment to check in with your body and reflect on how these movements are making you feel.
Switching Sides
Once you've spent sufficient time on the left side, it's time to switch. Straighten your left leg and pull your right knee into your chest. As before, you can begin by drawing the right knee towards the right side and eventually crossing it over to the left.
