Transitioning into an all-fours position, a crucial part of the practice involves connecting with the Earth. The “cat-cow” exercise invites participants to move with fluidity, utilizing their breath. As they sway, there’s an emphasis on drawing energy from the Earth, akin to roots reaching for nourishment. This communion serves to deepen the bond with nature and self-awareness.
Rest and Reflect
The instructor encourages time in Child's Pose, a supportive position that further promotes nourishment. Participants are given the option to engage in "Breath of Fire," a vigorous breathing technique designed to energize the body, or simply to rest and soak in the grounding energy.
