Climate Impulse is a two-seater aircraft designed to utilize supercooled liquid hydrogen as its fuel source. Once fully developed, it will aim to prove the viability of hydrogen-powered flight through an ambitious journey that could last up to nine days, with the goal of circumnavigating the globe without producing any emissions.
The aircraft's innovative design incorporates large fuel tanks within its fuselage, while a compact cockpit accommodates two pilots. According to its developers, the Climate Impulse will not only challenge traditional aviation norms but also serve as a demonstrator for future hydrogen applications in larger commercial aircraft.
