Power Variations and Consistent Findings
As they continued their investigation, the team adjusted power levels to measure the corresponding effects on the activity within the cell. They initially operated at power outputs of around 22.5 to 35 watts and observed a significant differential of about 5.9% excess in the active cell compared to the control. However, when they increased the power to as high as 70 watts, the differences in expected outcomes diminished, prompting discussions about potential damage to the wires used in the experiment.
Critically, raising the temperature inside the cell appeared to affect the frequency of gamma bursts. As concerns mounted regarding the statistical significance of these readings, they decided to lower the temperature in subsequent tests.
