Calibration Test of the Core Heater for the Dog Bone Project
The initial calibration of the core heater designed for the Dog Bone Project was conducted, showcasing a meticulous setup aimed at gauging performance under varying power inputs. The apparatus is securely positioned on fire bricks, featuring a Type K thermocouple wired to a PID controller, known for its ability to display temperatures reaching up to 1300°C. Moreover, voltage measurements were taken using a Fluke 1080A meter, and the system received power from a 20 amp power supply situated off-screen.
