In addition to the mini glow sticks, the team is also working with larger “full-size” glow sticks intended for use in a dog bone reactor. These feature elongated filler rods and an outer sheath, allowing the internal heater coil to achieve higher temperatures—up to 1300°C. There are also single-end tube variants designed to fit snugly within the reactor’s hot zone. The assembly's sealing method mirrors that of the mini glow sticks, reinforced during manufacturing for reliability.
