Part 5/11:
While Arrow Homes does not claim to solve the entire U.S. housing crisis, it aims to provide a viable solution by tackling the interconnected issues of sustainability and housing scarcity. Currently, there is a shortfall of about 5-6 million homes in the U.S. alone, with California's crisis particularly acute. Through their innovative approach, Arrow plans to gradually influence the market by demonstrating that sustainable homes can also be appealing to consumers.
Their goal is ambitious: to construct around 1,000 homes annually. These homes will offset their carbon footprint within approximately five years—a feat few residential buildings can currently claim.
