On March 8, 2014, Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370, a Boeing 777 carrying 239 passengers and crew, took off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport en route to Beijing International Airport. What followed was one of the most baffling and enduring mysteries in aviation history: the aircraft vanished without a trace.
