As R advanced in the decipherment, it became evident that the script conveyed Sanskrit—an astonishing revelation that would upend the prevailing narrative about the introduction of Hinduism and Sanskrit to India. Traditionally, it was believed that these elements were foreign to India, introduced through migrations around 1200 BC. However, R's work suggested Sanskrit existed in India much earlier, potentially dating back to 3000 BC.
