To draw an analogy, consider how the texture of food affects its taste. Just as a crispy French fry is more enjoyable than a cold, limp one, music requires dynamic variation to provide a pleasing listening experience. When tracks are overly compressed, they lack the “texture” that creates emotional depth and engagement.
