San Diego, with a population of around 3.5 million in the metro area, is known as "America's Finest City" due to its pleasant, Mediterranean-like climate and 266 days of sunshine per year. Visitors can explore the beautiful coastline, including La Jolla, Pacific Beach, and Mission Beach, as well as Balboa Park, the Gas Lamp District, and the USS Midway.
