YouTube TV Enhances DVR Quality
YouTube TV is improving the quality of its DVR recordings. The service is now rolling out "enhanced 1080p" for select devices, including Apple TV and some Roku models. This means that even if the live version of a channel was already in high-quality 1080p, the recorded version will now also be in the enhanced 1080p format. This provides a smoother, higher-bitrate playback experience, especially for fast-paced content like sports. While YouTube TV has not officially confirmed the change, users have reported seeing the improved DVR quality on their devices. This is a welcome upgrade that will enhance the viewing experience for YouTube TV subscribers.
