Apple, Cheddar and Bacon Crostini
Sunny assembles an easy crostini appetizer with thin slices of apple, sharp cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon. She broils them briefly to melt the cheese.
She also wilts some dandelion greens in the bacon drippings to serve alongside the crostini.
Antipasto Salad with Pesto Breadsticks
Sunny makes a big antipasto salad with a variety of Italian meats, cheeses, olives, and vegetables. She tosses the greens in an olive brine vinaigrette.
For the breadsticks, Sunny wraps strips of puff pastry around breadsticks and bakes them until golden.
