According to CEO Brad Adcock, figure 2 robots are now operating an autonomous fleet, with the team focused on "hardening" the fleet's operational readiness. They are deploying physical and digital twins to replicate the exact environments found at their customer sites, like the one shown in the video.
The video demonstrates the robots performing 1,000 placements per day, which CERN estimates is a 400% increase from their previous rate of 200 placements per day. Backing into the numbers, CERN hypothesizes that the initial error rate may have been around 50%, which has now improved to around 30% - still not good enough to fully replace human workers, but a significant step in the right direction.
